Daniel Amartey feels elated to score his first goal for Leicester City in the English Premier League.
Leicester managed to hold Stoke City to a 2-2 stalemate on Saturday of which Amartey scored the match-needed equalizer to earn his side a point away from home.
Claudio Ranieri’s side came from two goals down to pick a point, courtesy second half goals by Leonardo Ulloa and the Ghana star (Daniel Amartey).
Ulloa scored a consolation before the Ghanaian international headed in a cross from Christian Fushs late in the game.
The 21-year-old feels exited to have scored an all important goal for his team.
“YES, awesome day to get my first @lcfc goal. Wasn't an easy fight, but managed to save a point,” he tweeted.
“As always, many thanks for the support.”
The former Copenhagen midfielder seems to be filling the void left by French man N’golo Kante who left to Chelsea in the summer.
