Daniel Addo rubbishes injury claims

Ex-Ghana Under-20 defender Daniel Addo has rubbished claims he’s nursing an injury following his collapsed move to local giants Hearts of Oak.

Addo is unhappy with media reports that have suggested he’s hiding a suspected injury after he decided against signing for the capital-based side.

The former King Faisal and Kairat FC strong centre-back has reacted angrily to the injury claim and want those peddling the falsehood to stop.

“I am shocked that today some people say I have an injury. I can’t believe it,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I am fit as a fiddle and don’t even remember the last time I got injured. I don’t understand why anyone will peddle such obvious untruth.

“If it’s intended to stop me from getting a team, then I’m sorry they have failed. I am fully fit and have no injury concerns at all.

“Everybody will see me playing competitive football at the top level very soon. But please those faceless individuals must stop because it will not help them.”

The intelligent defender is on the verge of signing a short-term deal with Ghanaian Premier League side Great Olympics after holding advanced talks with them.

The former Ghana Unde-20 star is an exciting talent with an enviable aerial ability.
