Reports in Austria and Israel have stated that an Israeli club have taken ex-international midfielder, Daniel "Darling Boy" Addo on trial.

There are conflicting reports on which club signed him and how he got to Isreal.

According to one source, the 29-year-old was recommended by Ishmael Addo and would be playing in the same clu, i.e Maccabi Natanya. Officials of the club refused to say that he is at the club but a source in Austria claimed: "I can confirm that Dan was sold to an Israeli team."

Another source claims, Dan will be playing for the leading club in Israel - Tel Aviv. According to this source, the diminutive midfileder trained last seson with Leverkusen - while clubless. Adidas is the Sponsor of Leverkusen and the Tel Aviv club, and it was through their connections that Addo got an offer.

Dan Addo was a member of the starlet team that won the World Under-17 Championship in Italia'91. As a teenage prodigy, much was expected from Addo, but his career never took off as expected, when first signed by Bayer Leverkusen. For the past two seasons he's been languishing in the Austrian second division.
