Danbort win Teshie Community U-15 Soccer tournament

Danbort FC of Nungua lived up to the pre-tournament hype by clinching the ultimate diadem of the maiden Community U-15 Soccer tournament which came to a conclusion last Sunday at the MATS Park in Teshie, Accra. Danbort beat Zinaps of Teshie 3-2 on penalties after the 90 minutes finished 2-2 to emerge the first ever winners of the competition which spanned two months involving eight teams spread across Accra.

An initiative of Clecomax Multimedia headed by CEO Clement Kommey, the tournament is to identify and nurture soccer talents at an early age to serve as feeder for top clubs and national teams in future. It was sponsored by rLG Communications with publicity support from Metro TV and ALL SPORTS Newspaper.
