Danbort F.C – Denart Soccer Academy Split Results In A Special Friendly.

Nungua based Danbort Football Club and Denart Soccer Academy from Ada split results in their crucial friendly encounters last Saturday at Nungua Town Park. Danbort Under twelve side defeated Denart soccer academy by two goals to nothing whilst in the under fifteen category Denart soccer Academy also won 3-0.
Two early goals in the first ten minutes of the first half in the game sealed victory for Danbort’s under twelve (12) side. Two quick substitutions effected by the academy side has completely change the complexion of the game and has seen the academy side dominating play in the second half and hitting the wood work on two occasions.

In the under 15 category, the Danbort FC lads could not stand the speed and the quick runs by the academy side forcing them to concede fouls in the process. Two goals from striker Fredrick Aryerh in the first half and brilliant Solo effort by midfielder Solomon Ametepey helped to handle Danbort their first home defeat in so many years. After both games, coach of Danbort, Evans Agyei Ago was full of praise for the academy side especially their young coach Dr. Nart for nurturing such talents from the remote villages in the Ada district especially those from the islands who on the day played very well and promised the team a good match in the return encounter at Ada.
Dr. Nart, coach of the academy side was also grateful and praised both teams for their brilliant show and asked that the partnership between the two clubs be maintained to help promote and develop more young football talents in the country.

Football Scouts from Red Bull soccer Academy and other teams in Accra came to watch both matches and pointed many players from the academy side for trials at their clubs especially with the U-15 side where most first and second division sides have expressed interest in their services.
