Dan Quaye asks for Pardon

Accra, July 14, GNA-Daniel Quaye, a player of Accra Hearts of Oak has rendered an apology to the management of the club for his misconduct which led to the placing of an indefinite ban on him early this month. In a letter of apology addressed to the Chief Executive and copied to the Technical Team and the GNA Sports, Quaye said, " I have deeply regretted for my action and humbly plead for forgiveness".

Quaye, promised to turn over a new leaf and lead exemplary life for other players to follow and expressed sorrow for his misconduct that led to his suspension.

The defender, therefore appealed to the management board, to lift the suspension on him to enable him continue with his services to the club.

It would be recalled that on July 4, this year, Quaye was suspended indefinitely by the management board for professional misconduct when the club was on its way from Kumasi to Accra after a friendly match with King Faisal.

Hearts lost the encounter by four goals to nil at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
