Dan Quaye: I’m fit to play for Olympics

Veteran defender Daniel Quaye insists he has enough energy to play at the top level after sealing a one-year deal to Great Olympics.

The 34-year-old is returning to the domestic league, seven years after leaving for abroad.

He says he has enough energy and experience to play in the Ghanaian top-flight. “I left Ghana and played six seasons in the Chinese league and one needs to be energetic in order to play there,” he said.

“I know of how the young boys have been playing well of late in the local league, but I have what it takes to equally do well by capitalizing on my experience.

“The young ones sometimes wonder if I am still like them because I always work above myself during training sessions and games,” he disclosed.
