DAWU on the verge of collapse?

Relegated premier league club, DAWU Youngsters is on the verge of being disbanded by the club?s management headed by its founder and President, Seth Yeboah. The management of the club says it is prepared to wash its hands off the team because the financial implications of running the club are huge and crippling.

Dawu Youngsters was formed some fifteen years ago and quickly moved up the ranks into the Premier Division where it enjoyed twelve fruitful but checkered years. Dawu sometimes tethered to the edge and only survived relegation but this year, the knell sounded too hard in the years and they just could not knock-off the pull of relegation.

Sources close to the Dawu management told Myjoyonline Sports that the club will not partake in Division one football next season and the players have been told to look for clubs of their choice. But when myjoyonline contacted the Chairman of the Club, Seth Yeboah he said no firm decision has been taken on the future of Youngsters yet. Mr. Yeboah says he will meet with the club?s management to take a firm decision soon.
