The Disciplinary Committee of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association handed decisions after ruling on the two separate cases in the Division Two League
Case: Vision F.C. protested against Dreams F.C. for failing to attend the pre-match (technical) meeting and also for not presenting their duly registered strip preceding their league match in violation of Articles 34(1)(l) of the Ghana Football Association Rules & Regulations (the Regulations).
Decision
The Committee therefore makes the following decisions:
1. That Dreams F.C. having been found to have breached Articles 17(6) and 34(1)(l) of the GFA Regulations shall forfeit the match.
2. That Dreams F.C. is hereby declared loses of the said match.
3. That 3 points and 3 goals is hereby awarded in favour of Vision F.C. per Article 34(4)(b) of the GFA Regulations.
4. That Dreams F.C. shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points in line with Article 34(4)(b) of the GFA Regulations.
5. That Dreams F.C. is hereby fine GH¢30.00.
Case: It is the case of Kutunse Great United that Super Wonders should have paid a fine imposed against them by the Regional Football Association (RFA) under the GFA Approved Supplementary Rules and Regulations for the Greater Accra RFA for lateness to a match. They further contended that having failed to pay the said fine before playing in the match Super Wonders were in violation of the GFA Regulations
Defence of Super Wonders
In its Statement of Defence, Super Wonders FC disputed the claim by Kutunse Great United on the ground that the RFA did not notified Super Wonders about the supposed fine for their lateness.
Reply
In reply to the Defence, Kutunse Great United stated that the RFA had in line with their administrative duties pasted the fines against all clubs including Super Wonder FC on its notice board and quoted Article 18 of the GFA Approved Rules and Regulation for the Greater Accra RFA to support their claim.
Decision
In light of the findings, the Committee makes the following decisions:
1. The protest by Kutunse Great United will succeed.
2. That Super Wonders having been found to have breached Article 34(1)(n) and 39(8)(b) of the GFA Regulations shall forfeit the match.
3. That Super Wonders is hereby declared losers of the match.
4. That 3 points and 3 goals shall be awarded to Kutunse Great United in accordance with 34(10) of the GFA Regulations.
