Crowd made â??animal soundsâ?? at me â?? Kevin tells court

Prosecutors on Wednesday heard testimonies from AC Milan’s Kevin-Prince Boateng related to the January 3 incident when Milan players left the field after fans from opposing team were heard chanting racist jeers.
The friendly match against fourth-tier Pro Patria at Busto Arsizio north of Milan was first interrupted and then scrapped altogether after Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini led his teammates off the pitch.
Boateng, who spoke to the court for 20 minutes, said that “every time I touched the ball I heard animal-like noises coming from the stands”.
Milan’s Ghanian midfielder kicked the ball towards fans who were directing abuse at him before the action stopped.
The AC Milan player said that he also heard insults against his girlfriend, Melissa Satta.
“I kicked the ball into the fans’ (area) because of their racist chants and insults against my girlfriend… things I have already heard in other games,” Boateng said that he did not hear chants against teammate and star striker Stephan El Shaarawy, only against black players.
