Confed Cup: Egyptian officials to handle Kotoko clash with Nkana in Zambia

The Confederation of African Football(CAF) has appointed match officials from Egypt to handle CAF Confederation Cup Group C third match involving Nkana FC and Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Zambia to face Nkana on Sunday, 24 February. Kotoko will be hoping to record two consecutive wins in the group stage of the competition for the first time.

Referee Ahmed El Ghandour from Egypt will be the center-man and will be assisted by his compatriots Ahmed Hassam Eldin Hany Abdelfattah, Mahmoud El Shandidy and Mohammed Maaroup Eid Mansour, who will be the fourth official.

CAF has however chosen South African match commissioner Simphiwe Brain Xaba.

This is the second time an Egyptian referee has been appointed for a Group C match in the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
