CocaCola Top4 Postponed Again

...As Kotoko resurfaces

A pain-staking investigation conducted by Sunyani-based SPACE 87.7 FM has revealed that the lucrative Coca Cola Top 4 Tourney has once again been postponed to Wednesday 21st January 2004 by its organisers.

Reasons for the postponement is not yet known but what is certain is that the 2003 Premier League Champions, stubborn Kumasi Asante Kotoko have bounced back to take take their rightful place in the competition, which many thought would have lost its spice if the Porcupine Warriors had been axed,as threatened by tournament organisers,GHALCA.

Accra Hearts of Oak who early on had threatened to boycott the Tournament, should GHALCA re-admit Kotoko, are reported to have welcomed their main rivals back into the Competition and have promised to give them a good run for their money.

The fate of late entrants,Berekum Arsenal is however, not clear as a meeting is being arranged between the leadership of GHALCA and Arsenal.
