Black Meteors coach, Malik Jabir has named his team for the decisive clash against the Dream Team XI of Nigeria in the second group match of the All African Games Men’s soccer competition.

The veteran trainer has retained faith in Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori who kept a clean sheet in Ghana’s opening game against Senegal. Inter Allies defender Baba Mensah will partner skipper Lawrence Lartey in central defence.

Medeama SC midfielder Conney Idan who sat out in the first game, has returned to replace Latif Anabila.

Jabir opted for U-20 sensation Samuel Tetteh to lead an attacking trio of Asante Kotoko youngster Dauda Mohammed and Bright Adjei.

The Black Meteors will qualify to the semi finals of the competition being held in Brazzaville, Congo with a win over the Dream Team who are yet to kick a ball.

Nigeria sat out the opening round of matches due to the withdrawal of Egypt.

This leaves only three teams competing for the two qualification slots in Group B.

Ghana won gold at the last All Africa Games held four years ago in Maputo Mozambique with a team led by Kwesi Appiah.
