Coach Afranie Fired.

The head coach of the National Under-20 football team, Emmanuel Afranie has been sacked. Mr. Afranie who guided the Black Satellites to the just ended World Youth Football Tournament in Argentina has been replaced by Malik Jabir.

No reasons were given by the Ben Koufie administration for Mr. Afranie’s dismissal. His assistant Sulley Mohammed has been asked to assist Kuuku Dadzie who is acting as coach of the Black Queens.

A statement from the Ghana Football Association appointing members of various committees named Isaac Paha as assistant to Malik Jabir, who is also one of the two trainers of the national team goalkeepers.

Osam Duodu will continue to act as acting coach of the Black Stars and the national under-23 side to be assisted by Francis Oti Akenteng.

Former Great Olympics coach, John Eshun now heads the technical bench of the Under-17 team the Black Starlets, assisted by Rev. Osei Kofi.

The Ben Koufie administration has also appointed spiritual heads for the national teams, with Alhaji Dodoo Ankrah leading the team for the Moslems and Rev. Kofi Pare for the Christians.
