Clottey scores for Esperance in friendly

Striker Emmanuel Clottey scored for Esperance in their 2-1 friendly win over Stade Africain de Manzel Bourguib on Wednesday.

The Ghana international added the second goal for the Blood and Gold after Aouadhi had opened the scoring in the first half.

Clottey’s form can convince head coach Maher Kanzari about his striking prowess ahead of their CAF Champions League final qualifying round first leg tie against JSM Bejaia away.

He missed last Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Marsa in the Tunisian Ligue 1. Clottey travelled with Esperance set-up on Thursday to Bejaia.
