Cioaba will turn it around at Aduana- Darkwah

Aristica Cioaba has everything it takes to turn around the situation at Aduana Stars, according to captain Daniel Darkwah.

A dismal start to the season has left the Fire club sitting 16th on the Ghana Premier League log with zero point from three games, with Sunday's 1-0 defeat to debutants Techiman City at Nana Ameyaw Park the latest disheartening setback.

The Romanian coach was appointed last week to take over from Nurudeen Amadu who resigned after two defeats.

Cioaba was with Aduana few seasons ago until he opted to bow out but the club and owner Nana Agyemang Badu are desperate to see him get the team back to their best, thus offering him a two-year deal.

And Darkwah believes the fans and club's top hierarchy should support him, insisting he can fix the problem.

"Aristica Cioaba has been with us before and I personally think he can help the club from the current situation," Darkwah told Goal.

"It was unfortunate our former coach left but with the new one around, I think everyone should help him so that the club can start winning games. We have one of the best squads in the league and it's very bad that we are without a point," he added.

Aduana will host Wafa next weekend before travelling to Obuasi to engage title holders Ashanti Gold.
