Young footballer Christian Frimpong has now signed for Swindon FC as a youth Player on a Football League Scholarship for 2 years. Swindon FC plays in the third-highest league in England.

Christian, born on November 13, 1998 to Ghanaian parents living abroad, started his Football Career with Hullavington FC U8-U9 and joined the FC Chippenham Youth 2010 (U10-U12).

In 2012 he was scouted by the Pro Bristol academy and joined Bristol City Academy FC U13/U14.

He had the opportunity to join Reading Academy FC U14/U15.

Frimpong had a lot of calls in Trails from many UK Premierships and championships Clubs like Southampton FC, Liverpool FC, Leicester FC, Norwich FC, Birmingham FC, Watford FC, Scunthorpe FC and Swindon FC Academy.

His natural playing position is center back and right back. The contract Frimpong entered into is a so-called scolarship-contract, meaning the club will take care of his education while growing him as a footballer. At the end of the contract, or possibly even earlier, the club may offer him a professional's player contract.
