Chelsea open three-point lead

Berekum Chelsea seem to be consolidating their lead on the Ghana Premier League standings after a 2-1 victory over Tema Youth on Wednesday.

The former Caf Champions League campaigners sent the Golden City Park into ecstasy after the win that left the visitors with nothing to smile at.

Chelsea have now opened a three-point lead at the summit after 25 games as Asante Kotoko and Medeama trail them in that order after both sides dropped points in midweek. Chelsea are on top of the summit with 46 points.

Berekum Chelsea’s Jackson Owusu and Obed Owusu recorded the goals in either half whiles Moses Odjer scored the consolidation.
