Chelsea not in crisis - van der Pluym

Hans van der Pluym, head coach of champions Berekum Chelsea remains unwavering at all despite seeing his side go four league games without a win.

Dutchman van der Pluym whose first four league matches in charge ended in victories for the champions, insists Chelsea are still playing good football despite struggling to score in recent matches.

In fact, Chelsea have found the net just three times in their last four league games, but Mr. van der Pluym says there is no crisis in Berekum.

"I'm not talking like that, I'm not panicking because the team continues to play well to our satisfaction. I was not there yesterday, but I understand we played very well and everything was fantastic.

"We are creating chances but our problem is that we are not taking them. It's very unfortunate but that's football," said the coach who was in Prampram since last Thursday for a coaching course which ended on Monday.

The Dutch tactician is confident his side will be ready to roll when the league returns on January 2 after a short break. He is giving his team this week off after which they re-gather on December 26th to tackle the rest of the season.

"Nobody can look into the future but we will continue to work hard and hope to start scoring plenty again. That is what is important," the Chelsea coach stated.
