Chelsea mount pressure on Kotoko

Berekum Chelsea managed to record a slim 1-0 victory over Aduana on Sunday in week-29 of the Ghana Premier League.

The goal came from Landry Bosson in the early minutes of the first half to give the home side the critical three points they needed.

Aduana came close in equalizing in the 35th minute, but the penalty was wasted. The win for the Berekum-based club ensured they remain in the race together with Asante Kotoko for the 2012-2013 Premier League title.

Chelsea currently are second on the league log with 53 points same as leaders Kotoko. The Blues will next play as guests to Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park on June 23.

A win for both Chelsea and Kotoko in the final round of matches in a fortnight will lead to a playoff at the Accra Sports Stadium to determine the winners of the 2012-2013 Ghana Premier League season.
