Chelsea Delegation in Ghana

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has led the Chelsea junior team from the United Kingdom to Ghana.

They would be in the country until June 2, 2007.

The club's trip to Ghana is at the instance of Right To Play, an athlete-driven international humanitarian organization that uses specially designed sport and play programmes to teach children and youth life skills and health education in disadvantaged areas of the world.

Right To Play has sealed a 6-yaer exclusive partnership to be Chelsea's first ever Global Charity Partner. The Chelsea Right To Play deal is aimed at raising more than £2million over six years to support Right To Play's humanitarian operations in 23 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The Chelsea delegation, while in Ghana, will be raising awareness for sports charity Right to Play, as well as staging coaching clinics for young footballers during a five-day stay.

The group would witness Right To Play's special play games, which support the holistic development of children and are used as a tool for HIV and Aids education and prevention, at a special "Play Days" to be organize by Right To Play.
