Central Region Women's soccer League commences on June 7

Cape Coast, May 15, GNA - The Central Region Women Soccer League will commence on June 7, with seven clubs participating. Mr. Mathew Doe, Chairman of Regional Football Association who announced this at Cape Coast said they participating clubs are Cape Coast Ghatel Ladies, Assin North Ladies, Foso Ladies and Winneba Intellectual Ladies.

The rest are Abura Dunkwa Crystal Ladies, Ajumako Besease Real Maidens and Dunkwa- On-Offin Strake Ladies. Mr. Doe said the decision to start the League was agreed at a meeting with representatives of the various Clubs.

Meanwhile, various committees have been forced to ensure the registration of the clubs to enable the league to start on the stipulated date.

Mr. Doe has however appealed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to assist the RFA with some financial support to facilitate the organisation and administration of the league. 15 May 08
