Central Region Schools team beat Feyenoord Academy

Cape Coast, Aug. 17, GNA -- The combined soccer team of Central Region Schools beat the Under 15 team of the Feyenoord Academy 3-0 in a friendly match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah sports stadium on Wednesday.

The match formed part of preparations being made by the combined team towards the Schools and Colleges Sports Festival scheduled for Tamale next Thursday.

The combined team, which outclassed Feyenoord Academy in all departments of the game, led 2-0 at half- time, with the goals from Prince Sackey and Enoch Afful.

On resumption of the second half, Feyenoord Academy's hopes of levelling up the scores were shattered when the students' midfielder, William Acquah increased hi side's goal tally to 3-0 in the dying minutes of the game.
