Cagliari open talks to extend contract of Donsah

Cagliari have opened talks to tie Juventus target Godfred Donsah to a long-term contract at the club.

The second tier Italian club want to further ward off interest in the 19-year-old by offering him a fresh deal.

Donsah is being tracked by Juventus with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs also said to be interested.

But Cagliari have declared the Ghana U20 star is not for sale.

The club is now taking concrete steps to secure Donsah on a long term contract so as to be in the position to demand more money if he is to move on to a different club in future.
