Godfred Donsah's indifferent off-season could get worse if the highly rated player does not get his head around getting relegated with Cagliari and failing to shine with the Ghana U-20s at the 2015 FIFA world youth championships in New Zealand.

The 19 year old whizkid appears to have fallen out with his now Serie B side's coach.

The Ghanaian starlet will need to be on his best behavior after drawing disapproving comments from Cagliari boss Massimo Rastelli.

The midfielder burst onto the scene last season after a string of impressive performances for Cagliari even though they were relegated, leading to interest from clubs in the English Premier league and also Juventus in the Serie A.

Rastelli seems to think the comments have gotten to the youngster in his post match comments after Cagliari’s 5-0 win over Entella in the opening stages of the Coppa Italia, a game in which he dropped the youngster.

“Godfred is not at his best at the moment," Massimo Rasteli said.

"When he trains as I want I will review his position in the team and he is aware of this," the Cagliari coach explained.
