CPP launches World Cup raffle on June 4

Accra, June 2, GNA - The Convention People's Party (CPP) will on Friday, June 4, 2010 organize a nationwide raffle to select 20 party members to join the Ghanaian delegation for the South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup. A statement signed by William Dowopkor, Director of Communications of the Party said all Regional Chairmen are to liaise with the headquarters for procedures on organizing the raffle in their respective Regions. Dowopkor said the raffle is open to all card bearing CPP members in good standing.

He added that members who wish to participate in the raffle are to present their Party cards to the organizers of the raffle at their regional offices on Friday, June 4 between 08h00 and 12h00 noon. The Communications Director said winners of the raffle will be declared immediately after the winning cards are picked to ensure early processing of their travel documents. 02 June 10
