Under-pressure Dreams FC coach CK Akunnor feels relieved after his side's hard-fought 1-0 win over New Edubiase on Thursday.

Aaron Amoah's sliding header was all that the debutants needed to pick the valuable points in Obuasi in the Ghanaian top-flight.

The win has lifted Dreams FC to 6th on the table and their under-fire coach CK Akunnor feels relieved after the latest win.

“Is a positive result for us, it has boosted our moral ahead of our next home game against Hearts,” he told the media.

“Things have not been going on that well in our recent games therefore this particular win is very vital for us.

“We are still on course and we have to prepare for our next game.”

Dreams had struggled in their last three games, drawing against Liberty Professionals and Medeama at home.

They host Hearts of Oak at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Sunday to raise the curtain in the first round.
