CAF opens media accreditation for CAN 2013 draw

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Monday opened its media accreditation process for the official draw of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations competition.

The draw has been fixed for October 26 in Durban, South Africa.

A CAF statement culled by GNA Sports in Accra said “media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the Official Draw for the Orange African Cup of Nations 2013 – South Africa will open from August 27th to October 1st 2012.

“Media interested in attending the official draw must apply for accreditation on the CAF Media Channel via the CAF website, www.cafonline.com.

“Approval to access the CAF Media Channel will not mean you have been granted accreditation,” it added.

Ghana’s Black Stars are scheduled to tackle their Malawian counterparts for a place at the final tournament scheduled for 19 January to 10 February, 2013 in South Africa.
