CAF appoints top-rated Ghanaian medical officials

The Confederation of African Football – CAF - has secured the services of Ghanaian sports doctors Dr Martin Engmann and Dr Prince Pambo to help improve the medical side of the game.

The highly-respected doctors, both members of the Ghana Football Association’s Medical Committee, have been appointed as CAF Sports medicine instructors and anti-doping officers.

Both doctors recently completed a refresher course organized by CAF in Cameroon where they delved into medical issues that surround the game.

Some of the issues discussed at the workshop included injury prevention, sudden cardiac death and age determination.
