Ghana's sole continental representatives Medeama have failed to qualify to the semi-final of the CAF confederation Cup following a 1-0 defeat against MO Bejaia in Algeria.

A second half strike from Morgan was enough to seal qualification for the Algerians at the expense of Medeama.

The Mauves fought hard to beat TP Mazembe 3-2 to put themselves in pole position and were hoping to seal historic semi-final berth.

They needed nothing short of a win or draw, however Bejaia took full advantage of home to eliminate Medeama.
