According to the RFA, the winner and the runners-up in each group would qualify for the super zonal middle league in March 2004.

Meanwhile, the disciplinary committee of the association had dismissed protests filed by Cape Coast Bless FC and Efutu Breku FC against Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks for fielding an unqualified player, Samuel Tetteh in their second division league matches.

A statement issued by the committee and signed by the secretary, Mr Ewudzie Sagoe and copied to the GNA Sports said after "exhaustive deliberations", the committee found that Tetteh had been one of the registered players of Coconut Grove Sharks Juvenile football club since 1997.

It said the club had between 1997 and 2003 existed as the first juvenile club and later as a division two club sponsored by the management of Coconut Grove hotel limited of Elmina. The statement said the committee has therefore ruled that Tetteh's registration was "proper and in conformity" with the relevant provisions of article 33 of the GFA regulations.

Bless FC's management are however, not happy with the verdict and have appealed to the appeals committee of the GFA in Accra for proper redress.

Coconut Grove Sharks beat Bless FC 1-0 and also beat Efutu Breku 2-1 in the matches under protest.
