Burkhard Is Back

Black Stars coach Burkhard Ziese returned to Ghana last Sunday after his 10-day leave of absence to resume duty with the national team.

The German who submitted his programme to the GFA before his departure is expected to meet the GFA sometime this week for deliberation on the Stars' future programme.

Graphic investigations have also revealed that the German would know his fate by the end of the week as the GFA has come under heavy pressure to relieve him of his duties.

Coach Ziese himself has come under heavy criticism following the failure of the Stars to qualify for the 2004 Nations Cup in Tunisia.

He asked for a leave to see his ailing mother two weeks from which he has just returned.
