Bright Gyamfi scores for Inter Milan

Highly-rated Ghanaian youth defender Bright Gyamfi highlighted his versatility by scoring one of the goals for Inter Milan's Primavera side when they defeated Perugia 4-2 on Friday.

The 19-year-old promising right-back, who has already played for Roberto Mancini's first team squad, put his name on the score-sheet with a clinical finishing instincts effort on the 6th minute mark.

Inter fell to an early strike from the host but the former Anokye Stars defensive prodigy completed their comeback when he ghosted into the box pummeled the ball past the stranded the Perugia goalkeeper.

Gyamfi told GHANAsoccernet.com he is thrilled to register his first goal of the season for Stefano Vecchi's side.

"I scored my first goal for the team since the start of the season and I'm really happy with that," he said.

Gyamfi scored the match-winner for Inter in the Youth League cup final last season when he first arrived at the club.

While he was scoring on the afternoon attacker Samuel Darko Appiah was left out of the Inter squad for the game.
