Boye eyes regular action after injury return

Ghana Defender John Boye says he is focused on fighting his way back into the main team of Rennes after his injury.

The 26-year-old who missed Ghana’s 2014 World Cup qualifying play-offs games against Egypt due to the setback is yet to play for his club since October.

The Former Kpando Heart of Lions Defender who started main stream training a fortnight ago has had his return delayed again due to a few complications.

Boye told XYZ Sports that his major target is to fight for a starting place in the team.

“Everything is alright with me now,” Boye told XYZ Sports.

“Everything is okay and I just want to thank God for helping me to recover, it feels good to be back” he added.

“I have never had a long term injury before so I was down but now that I am back its okay I am working my way back into regular action and things are moving well".

John Boye has impressed for the Black Stars since his debut against Gabon in 2008.
