Blows in Hearts camp

Information reaching FINDER Sports indicates that there was a scuffle in the dressing room of Accra Hearts of Oak after the teams disappointing goalless draw against Tema Youth at the Accra sports stadium last Sunday.

Our source say Mahatama Otoo and Uriah Asante were engaged in a heated verbal exchange and blows following Mahatma’s 65th minute penalty miss during the game.

Uriah Asante is alleged to have suggested that a decision should be taken to stop Mahatma from taking penalty kicks for the club since he (Otoo) has demonstrated a tendency of missing very important penalty kicks.

Otoo is believed to have been offended by those comments and what was initially a verbal exchange turned physical.

FINDER Sports can confirm that there are deep cracks in the ranks of the playing body of the club- a phenomenon which has contributed to the abysmal performance of the club in the second round of the league.

The weekend result leaves the Phobians nine points adrift of leaders and arch rival Asante Kotoko on the league table.

The Phobians are expected to announce drastic changes in the technical department of the team later tomorrow with Serbian coach Nebosja Vuciccevic expected to be sacked.
