Black Stars players meet GFA over bonus package

TV3 sources gather that BlackStars players will have a crunch meeting with the Management Committee of the Ghana Football Association to discuss arrangements for the team's AFCON participation.

TV3 can confirm that this will be the second time the senior players of the team are meeting the GFA Executives after a similar meeting was held on Friday.

Sources close to the playing body reveal they are unhappy due to the uninformed nature of the decision by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to reach a consensus with the players before approving $5, 000 as a flat match appearance fee per game for AFCON 2015.

The new proposal includes a $60,000 reward if they win the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

It is still not clear whether the playing body will accept the offer made by the Ministry with 19 days to the start of the AFCON in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
