Black Stars end SA training camp

Ghana ended their training camp in South Africa on Wednesday ahead of their crucial 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

The Black Stars have been camping in the country in preparation towards Saturday's game to be played in Ndola.

The players trained at the training complex of local side Mamelodi Sundowns in Johannesburg during Wednesday's session.

They trained at the University of Johannesburg complex since they arrived on Sunday before strategically training at the Mamelodi Sundowns grounds.

All the 23 players available fully participated in their two-hour session under the guidance of coach Kwesi Appiah and his assistant Maxwell Konadu.

The Ghana team will leave South Africa on Thursday morning for Zambia where they will play the Group D match will be played on Saturday.

The Black Stars will face the Chipolopolo in Ndola and their training camp has put them in the right shape for the game.

Ghana are currently top of Group D after their emphatic 7-0 win over Lesotho in their opening game in the group.

Zambia, the African champions, lost 2-0 to Sudan in the group's other game.
