Black Queens striker Samira Suleman joins Víkingur Ólafsvík in Iceland

Ghana female international Samira Suleman has signed a one-year deal with Icelandic female football club Víkingur Ólafsvík. Ghanasprtsonline.com can confirm.

Samira joined the Club from Ghanaian Women’s League Champions Hasaacas Ladies.

The Black Queens forward makes a return to the Úrvalsdeild after just one year in the Ghanaian Women’s top-flight.

The 24-year-old had previously featured for Yikingur together with country-mate Linda Eshun who now plies her trade for fellow Icelandic side Grindavik FC.

The diminutive attacker has been phenomenon since making a return to the Ghanaian Women’s top-flight League where she captained Hasaacas Ladies to win the League for a third consecutive time.

The ex-Ghana female U20 goal poacher helped the Black Queens to clinch Gold at the All-Africa games in Congo Brazzaville last year and also helped the team to earn qualification to the 2016 Africa Women’s Championship in Cameroon which will be played later this year after eliminating Tunisia 6-1 on aggregate, scoring two goals in the return leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
