Black Queens named National team of the year at SWAG Awards

Ghana’s Black Queens have been named as the best National team of the year at the 41st SWAG Awards night.

The Black Stars were rewarded for their excellent feat at the 2015 All Africa Games competition in Congo Brazzaville where the won Gold at the multi-sports competition.

Coach Yusif Basigi and his team made history after winning their first ever Gold medal after defeating Cameroon in the finals.

The Black Queens have also qualified for the 2016 Africa Women’s Championship in Cameroon later this year.
