Black Queen babies defeat Holy Ghost babies

Tarkwa, (W/R) August 17, GNA - The under-14 side of the Tarkwa Black Queen Babies soccer team defeated arch rivals Banso domeabra Holy Ghost Babies 1-0 in a return friendly encounter at the Tarkwa Railway Quarters Park on Friday.

In the first encounter played at the Banso town park a fortnight ago, Holy Ghost Babies beat Black Queen babies 2-1.

Holy Ghost Babies, formed about six months ago, also defeated much-fancied Wassa Yereyeyaw Young Stars 2-0 and drew 0-0 with Wassa Aiyinase Babies in earlier friendlies.

A spokesman told the GNA Sports at Tarkwa that the team will participate in the forthcoming Wassa West District third division ladies football league.
