Black Princesses in tough WC group

Ghana’s Black Princess have been drawn in Group A at the 2014 Fifa U20 women’s World Cup where they would face Canada, Korea DPR and Finland.

The team which qualified at the expense of Equatorial Guinea are making their third straight appearance after failing to go past the group stages in the two previous attempts.

This year’s pairings also present the Princesses with another tough group as they play against hosts and 2002 first runners-up, Canada.

They will also face 2006 champions and 2008 first runners-up, Korea DPR as well as Finland.

Ghana’s first match is against Canada on August 5, before locking horns with Korea DPR three days later in Toronto.

The last group match against Finland will be played on August 12 in Montreal.
