Berekum Chelsea beats BA Stars in friendly match

Sunyani, (B/A) Aug. 16, GNA - Berekum Chelsea FC spnked newly-promoted B.A Stars 2-0 in a special friendly football match at the Sunyani Coronation Park at the weekend.

Both goals were scored in the second half by Abdul Ganiyu alias and S. Ibrahim in the 60th and 73rd minutes, respectively.

The two Clubs who used the match to test the readiness of their newly-signed players, threw everything into attack right from the blast of the referee's whistle but the game remained a ding-dong affair, resulting in a goalless first half.

B.A Stars paraded first class players including Osei Kwame Junior, Adusei Poku, Bawa Mohammed, Dauda Seidu, Fuseini Adams, Sadik Abubakari, Kwabena Dodzi but could not stand the incessant raids from the youthful Chelsea lads on resumption of the second half.

It therefore came as no surprise when Coach Otis Asante and his side clinched a convincing away victory over the opponents.
