Berekum Arsenals to Test Satellites

Coach Oti Akenten's Black Satellites will play as guests of premier division side, Berekum Arsenals in a friendly football match at Berekum today.

The Satellites are currently in camp in their preparation towards the African Youth Championship tie against Gabon and the friendly is expected to give them the necessary test before their major assignment. The Satellites are scheduled to play the Gabonese and honour the return leg on July 17 and 31 respectively.

Coach Akenten has so far led the team to record impressive displays against four premier clubs in the last two weeks in which they won all their matches.

The Satellites defeated Kpando Heart of Lions, Power FC, Real Sportive and drew with Liberty Professionals in similar trials start as favourites on Wednesday.

Arsenals are poised to hand the Satellites their first defeat when they clash on Wednesday. Oti Akenten would likely parade players like Prince Tagoe, Kwaku Essien, Michael Helebge, Eric Bekoe, Samuel Asante and Nafiu Abdul to continue his unbeaten run.

An arsenal official has meanwhile announced a flat rate of 10,000 cedis to be charged at the gates.
