Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe has admitted lack of financial war chest accounted for their relegation. Hasmal suffered relegation after a difficult season in the Ghanaian top-flight.

And striker Eric Bekoe has admitted the team's lack of finances contributed largely to their unfortunate situation.

"Lack of funds led to relegation. We faced many challenges this season despite our determination to do well in the league," he told Koforidua -based Kingdom FM.

"In the middle of the season, things were difficult and the club was struggling to pay winning bonuses and monthly salaries as it was a factor that push us to relegation.
