Bechem United set top 6 target

Bechem United underlined their giant killing status with a stunning away victory over Aduana Stars on Wednesday in Match Day 4 of the Ghana Premier league, but for management of the club it’s the result of hardwork and sacrifice.

Bechem United remain unbeaten in the league, sitting 4th on the log on 8 points and are undoubtedly the story of the season so far having previously beaten high-flying Ebusua Dwarfs after also holding the highly rated Medeama 1-1 away in Tarkwa to add to their opening day draw with Amidaus Professionals.

The club back in the top division of Ghana football are reaping the rewards of shrewd management and professionalism but Bechem United are eyeing even bigger scalps by setting a goal of finishing within the top 6 bracket by the end of the 2013/14 Ghana football season.

Reliable Sportsinghana.com sources indicate that CEO of the club, Kingsley Owusu Achaau has invested a lot in building up the confidence and belief of players and technical officials of the club. Mr. Acchau prides Bechem United as the most professionally set up and well organized club in the league.

“We learnt our lessons from inadequate planning during our previous stint in the league so we went back to re-strategize with the focus on running the club in a professional way and we are delighted with the progress so far,” Mr. Achaau said.

The Bechem CEO added: “We know there is still a lot of work to be done however so we are determined to stay strong, work harder to improve every day. Our target is to finish the season among the top six teams on the table so management will continue to motivate and encourage in the best way possible.”
