Bechem United play King Faisal on Sept. 23

Accra, Sept. 22, GNA – Premiership new entrants Bechem United will pitch their strength against relegated Kumasi King Faisal in a friendly encounter on Friday, September 23 at Bechem Park.

The Brong Ahafo Region-based Club will use the game to fine-tune their preparations for the 2011/2012 Premier League which commences on October 9.

The encounter will also afford the technical team to assess their newly registered players for the football season.

The debutants will open their campaign against New Edubiase United at home in the Premier League season’s opener on Sunday, October 9.

Meanwhile, Bechem United beat Wa All Stars 2-1 in a friendly match on Tuesday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

New recruit Eric Fordjour scored in each half for Bechem United whilst Samuel Boateng reduced the deficit for the Upper West heroes, Wa All Stars in the closing stages of the game.
