Bechem United plan shock move for George Owu

FA Cup holders Bechem United are seeking to sign veteran Hasaacas goalkeeper George Owu, multiple reports in Ghana have claimed.

United are looking at the former Kotoko goalkeeper as they seek for experience hands ahead of their debut campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Media reports have claimed the Hunters are interested in signing the 34-year-old.

Owu is one of the experienced goalkeepers in the country with and will be a crucial addition to the side.



He was part of the Black Stars team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

He mounted the post in Ghana’s historic 2-0 victory over South African in Johannesburg during the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
