Bechem United and Tema Youth qualify for Premier League

Accra, May 22, GNA - Bechem United and Tema Youth booked their places for the Premier League after finishing tops in their respective zones during the 2011 Division One Middle League.

Bechem United beat Guan United 2-0 in their Zone Three clash at the Tema Park whilst Team Youth sealed the Zone One ticket with a 4-1 thrashing of D'International at the Essipong Stadium, Sekondi on Sunday. It is the first time Bechem United have qualified for the elite division after several failed attempts whilst Tema Youth will be making a return to the top flight after being relegated in the 2008/2009 soccer season. The third team to join the qualified teams will be determined from Zone Two, billed to start at a later date.
