Bechem Chelsea Draw Hertha BC, FC Copenhagan in Yokohama Tournament

Ghana Premier League side Bechem Chelsea will come up against two German Bundesliga sides Hertha Berlin and VfL Stuttgart in Group A of the annual Yokohama International Tournament in Germany.which also comprises Danish Side FC Copenhagan.

Bechem Chelsea left the country with an eighteen (18) man contingent made up of sixteen players and two officials, the club's youth team coach Kwabena Amissah and CEO Nana Kwame Netiah who also doubles as the leader of leader of delegation.

The tournament which is being organised by Japanese firm Yokohama features eight clubs with FC Viktoria Plezn(Czech Rep), Sotrach FC, AFC Ajax Armsterdam and German giants Bayern Leverkuseen also making up the other group in the five-day event.Bechem Chelsea kick start their tournament with a fixture against VfL Stuttgart tomorrow Saturday May 22 at 12:00 local time.

Speaking from the club's camp base in Germany, Nana Kwame revealed the preparedness of the club to excel in the competition and also reiterated on the influx of most European team scouts and agents to the teams camp base but insisted they are focused on the tournament more than anything else.

The finals of the tournament is scheduled to be played on Wednesday May 26 with Chelsea returning to the country the day after.
