Banahene and Anobaah sign for Ismaily SC

Ghana striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene has completed a move to Ismaily SC, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

The 26-year-old penned a two and a half year deal with the Egyptian club after leaving Saudi Arabian outfit Al Orobah.

Ismaily turned to Osei Banahene after failing to land a deal with Heart of Lions striker Isaac Osae, who have now secured a three-year-deal with Al Orobah.

Banahene, who was called up into the Black Stars for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and Togo in November last year, is viewed as a replacement for new Al Shabab attacker John Antwi.

Meanwhile, Ismaily have also penned a deal with former Medeama SC player Theophilus Anobaah.

The 27-year-old earlier joined Petrojet, but had to be released following a protest by Medeama that the ex-Ashgold attacking midfielder was still their player.
